I ordered from Asian One for the first time last weekend. I ordered edamame and the pu pu platter. The edamame was good but the pu pu platter was terrible. Everything on the pu pu platter was very, very greasy (Oil not hot enough when cooking??). And some of the items looked like they were burned or very overcooked. I ate the edamame, and threw out the pu pu platter. What a waste, expecially because I was looking for a new GOOD Chinese restaurant to order from. You fell VERY short in the quality department.

The place I usually order Chinese from was closed (it's late) so I took a chance on Asian One. It turned out to be a great decision. The containers *might* be slightly smaller than others, but I really mean slightly (if at all) and they are packed with meat instead of broccoli. You do not feel cheated -- if anything, you feel like you got a bargain because you do get more meat than other places and the prices are really good as well. The food itself was great. Everything tasted fresh (something I'm not used to when ordering Chinese) and the rice was perfect.I had General Tsao's and Happy Family and do recommend both.

I have lived in Laurel for over 10 years and this is the best asian food resturant in the area. The food tastes fresh and wonderfully cooked. I ordered over the phone and the delivery was fast which is always a plus!
